RECUBOX® OPEN represents a modular heat recovery system solution offering high variability of the resulting ventilation system. Unlike conventional compact heat recovery units, the fans are not permanently integrated into the RECUBOX® casing – they are installed separately directly in the ductwork, just like other system components.
This makes it possible to design the fan performance, control, filtration, silencers, reheaters, dampers, BY-PASS and other accessories precisely according to the specific installation. The result is long service life, simple maintenance, easy replacement of individual components and the possibility of future expansion or modernization of the system.
We manufacture RECUBOX® units entirely in the Czech Republic according to the exact requirements of our customers. We use high-quality polypropylene materials from SIMONA AG and professional hot-gas welding technology using equipment from Leister AG.

Every RECUBOX® is created as a carefully manufactured technical product with an emphasis on precision, airtightness, long service life and the possibility of adapting it to a specific installation.
The airtightness of the casing is essential for efficient operation of the heat recovery system. RECUBOX® is equipped with robust adjustable latches that allow the pressure of the service door against the seal to be precisely adjusted.
This reduces unwanted false air leakage and allows the system to operate at the highest possible efficiency. At the same time, quick and convenient service access to the heat exchanger and the interior of the RECUBOX® is maintained.
Thanks to their robust construction, high quality and hygienic safety, our RECUBOX® units are part of a number of CTU projects, including the unique S.A.W.E.R. system developed by UCEEB for obtaining drinking water from air.
| Easy removal of the heat exchanger The heat exchanger can be removed from the RECUBOX® easily and quickly, practically with a single pull. This significantly simplifies its regular inspection, maintenance and cleaning. |

| Maximum hygiene The removable heat exchanger allows thorough cleaning of both the heat exchanger itself and the entire interior of the RECUBOX®. The construction is designed with an emphasis on simple maintenance and a high level of operational hygiene. |

| Mechanical sealing of the heat exchanger The heat exchanger is sealed inside the RECUBOX® using a seal inserted into a groove without the use of adhesives or conventional self-adhesive sealing strips. The heat exchanger can therefore be easily removed and reinstalled. The seal can also be easily replaced if necessary. |

| Without screws, rivets and structural adhesives The RECUBOX® casing is manufactured from a single type of material using hot-gas welding technology. The result is strong, homogeneous and airtight joints without the risk of corrosion of conventional metal fasteners or gradual degradation of bonded structural joints. |

| Wide range of sizes RECUBOX® units are manufactured in a wide range of dimensions and performance variants. Thanks to the custom design, a suitable solution can also be designed for installations with limited space. |

| Designed for counterflow heat exchangers RECUBOX® OPEN units are designed for a wide range of counterflow heat exchangers and their specific construction is always adapted to the installed type of heat exchanger. |

| Wide performance range The RECUBOX® product range allows the design of systems from small residential applications to large ventilation systems with airflow rates in the thousands of m³/h. |

| Possibility of connecting an ionizer Depending on the requirements of the specific installation, the system can be supplemented, for example, with a MALAPA IN03 ionizer or other ventilation components. |

| Maximum variability The position of the inlet and outlet connection ports can be adapted to the specific project, duct routing, required diameter and the available space in the technical room. |

| Mirror version A mirror version is available for all suitable variants. Condensate drainage is provided by a 1/2" threaded connection and, depending on the specific version, can be prepared in several positions. |
We provide an extended 12-year warranty on the airtightness of the RECUBOX® casing.
The casing is made of high-quality polypropylene and joined using hot-gas welding technology, resulting in homogeneous, strong and long-term stable joints without the risk of corrosion or gradual separation of structural joints.
Unlike constructions using bonded joints, rivets, sealing tapes or combinations of different materials, RECUBOX® maintains its airtightness and mechanical resistance even after many years of operation.
| Easy installation Installation is facilitated by prepared structural elements and holes for threaded rods. The method of suspension or positioning can be adapted to the specific installation. |

| Large-area filters The large filtration area helps reduce the airflow velocity through the filter medium and limits pressure loss. The filter frames also allow easy replacement of the filter medium. In the standard version, RECUBOX® is equipped with M5 filter material. |
| BY-PASS BY-PASS is available as a separate bypass section or as an integrated solution with the option of manual control or preparation for an actuator. The BY-PASS shaft diameter is 14 mm. |

Service access – dimension E Sufficient space must be left in front of the RECUBOX® service door to allow the heat exchanger to be pulled out of the module. E = C − 60 mm Integrated BY-PASS – dimension F The integrated BY-PASS is located behind the heat exchanger and increases the overall depth of the RECUBOX® by approximately one third of the basic depth. F = 1/3 × C The BY-PASS opens a bypass route for fresh air around the heat exchanger with very low pressure loss. In this version, opening the BY-PASS does not close the passage through the heat exchanger. However, due to the significantly lower pressure loss of the open bypass route, the amount of air passing through the heat exchanger is minimized. |
RECUBOX® is manufactured according to the selected configuration. The position and diameter of the connection ports, orientation of the service door, position of the condensate drain, type of insulation, BY-PASS design and other construction details can be adapted to the specific installation.
If the selected configuration cannot be technically implemented or another solution would be more suitable, we will contact you before production begins.

The product price includes the integrated heat exchanger and the configuration specified for the particular product variant. Any optional accessories and individual construction modifications are governed by the configuration selected during the ordering process.
