Enthalpic RECUBOX® 360 VENT-READY – the basis for high-tech heat recovery

RECUBOXES® are manufactured entirely in the Czech Republic , as custom-made products based on precise specifications provided by our customers.
High quality is guaranteed by the use of the highest quality materials from the German manufacturer SIMONA AG in combination with processing on Swiss Leister AG equipment .


Technology and performance

RECUBOX® 360 VENT-READY is a completely unique, indestructible and hygienically clean base for the heat recovery unit , made of polypropylene with 100% smooth walls inside and out .
The cabinet is structurally prepared for the installation of AFL EC CONSTANT FLOW fans , which, thanks to intelligent regulation, maintain a constant flow rate and pressure balance of the entire system.

Thanks to their exceptional efficiency, the system can deliver up to 360 m³/h even at an external pressure of 400 Pa (after deducting exchanger and housing losses).

Inside the RECUBOX® there is an enthalpy exchanger that transfers not only heat but also moisture.
The exchanger is deliberately oversized to minimize pressure losses , which guarantees quiet and economical operation.


Choose from two types of exchangers:


Easy installation

The fans can be installed within 15 minutes – just by inserting them into the prepared hole and tightening four screws.
All outlets and condensate drains are designed in a mirrored manner , so you only choose the mounting direction during installation .

RECUBOX® can of course also be operated with external fans of your choice.


Regulation and management

Regulation, as with all EC fans, is quite simple – it is carried out using a DC 0–10 V signal.
This control method allows for convenient control of either:

  • manual regulator ,

  • with smart regulation RekupeX REX EC , or

  • by direct connection to a smart home system (e.g. Loxone) - without the need for any intermediate link .


The enthalpic RECUBOX® 360 VENT-READY is supplied as a separate cabinet without fans and controls.

REMOVING THE HEAT EXCHANGER FROM THE RECUBOX is very simple, literally in one go.

MAXIMUM HYGIENE is guaranteed thanks to the possibility of removing the exchanger and washing both the exchanger itself and the entire unit. The exchanger is certified by ILH Berlin with a hygiene certificate and the RECUBOX material is certified for food storage and use in the healthcare sector

THE EXCHANGER SEALING in the RECUBOX is done by sealing into the groove without the use of adhesives or adhesive sealing, which degrades over time. This makes removing the exchanger and reinserting it completely simple. The seal can be easily replaced if necessary.

NO SCREWS, RIVETS OR GLUE - RECUBOX is made from one type of material using hot gas welding technology . This ensures absolutely tight joints without degradation due to aging , unlike other joints of different types of materials.

MIRROR USE is possible for all variants. The condensate drain is secured with a 1/2" diameter screw connection and is fitted in 2 places

LARGE AREA FILTERS for the use of any filter fabric, which is easily replaceable. The unit is basically equipped with filter fabrics of filtration class M5.

BY-PASS is available as a short-circuit part or integrated with preparation for manual or servo control. The diameter of the by-pass shaft is 14 mm


2 heat recovery unit casings

RECUBOX can be ordered either without thermal INSULATION or with 30 and 50 mm insulation.

It is essential that the insulation is hermetically sealed between two shells. So if you order an insulated RECUBOX, you will also receive an additional 5 mm thick PP shell in addition to the insulation.

A minimum space corresponding to the size of the recubox door must be provided. the length of the exchanger so that it can be removed from the recubox without any problems.

INTEGRATED BY-PASS - dimension F

The integrated by-pass is located “behind the exchanger” and increases the recubox by 1/3 of the depth.

BY-PASS opens the fresh air bypass around the exchanger with almost zero pressure loss.

Opening the BY-PASS does not close the passage through the exchanger, but thanks to the open BY-PASS, the amount of fresh air passing through the exchanger is minimized.
