ENTHALPY RECUBOX® OPEN ERV represents a modular solution for recovering heat and part of the airborne moisture, offering a high degree of flexibility in the resulting ventilation system. Unlike conventional compact heat recovery units, the fans are not permanently integrated into the RECUBOX® casing – they are installed separately directly in the ductwork, just like the other system components.
This allows the fan performance, control, filtration, silencers, post-heaters, dampers, BY-PASS and other accessories to be designed precisely according to the specific installation. The result is long service life, simple maintenance, easy replacement of individual components and the possibility of future system expansion or upgrades.
We manufacture RECUBOX® units entirely in the Czech Republic according to the exact requirements of our customers. We use high-quality polypropylene materials from SIMONA AG and professional hot-gas welding technology with equipment from Leister AG.

Every RECUBOX® is created as a carefully manufactured technical product with an emphasis on precision, airtightness, long service life and the possibility of adapting it to a specific installation.
The airtightness of the casing is essential for the efficient operation of a heat recovery system. RECUBOX® is equipped with robust adjustable latches that allow the pressure of the service door against the seal to be precisely adjusted.
This reduces unwanted air leakage and allows the system to operate at the highest possible efficiency. At the same time, quick and convenient service access to both the heat exchanger and the interior of the RECUBOX® is maintained.
Thanks to their robust construction, high quality and hygienic safety, our RECUBOX® units are used in a number of CTU projects, including the unique S.A.W.E.R. system, which UCEEB is developing for producing drinking water from air.
An enthalpy heat exchanger not only transfers sensible heat, but also enables the recovery of part of the airborne moisture. This is particularly beneficial during winter, helping to reduce excessive drying of the indoor environment caused by intensive ventilation.
RECUBOX® can be equipped with three types of enthalpy heat exchangers featuring different designs and moisture-transfer technologies. The specific characteristics, efficiency and pressure losses therefore depend on the selected heat exchanger and operating conditions.
Thanks to the choice of three variants, you can select a solution ranging from economical enthalpy heat recovery to premium METALPIC technology.
| Easy heat exchanger removal The heat exchanger can be removed from the RECUBOX® easily and quickly, practically with a single pull. This significantly simplifies regular inspection, maintenance and cleaning. |

| Maximum hygiene The removable heat exchanger allows both the heat exchanger itself and the entire interior of the RECUBOX® to be thoroughly cleaned. The construction is designed with an emphasis on easy maintenance and a high level of operating hygiene. |

| Mechanical sealing of the heat exchanger The heat exchanger is sealed inside the RECUBOX® using a seal inserted into a groove, without adhesives or conventional self-adhesive sealing strips. The heat exchanger can therefore be easily removed and reinstalled. The seal itself can also be easily replaced when necessary. |

| No screws, rivets or structural adhesives The RECUBOX® casing is made from a single type of material using hot-gas welding technology. This results in strong, homogeneous and airtight joints without the risk of corrosion of conventional metal fasteners or gradual degradation of bonded structural joints. |

| Wide range of sizes RECUBOX® units are manufactured in a wide range of dimensions and performance variants. Thanks to the custom-built design, a suitable solution can also be created for installations with limited space. |

We provide an extended 12-year warranty on the airtightness of RECUBOX® casings.
The casing is made from high-quality polypropylene and joined using hot-gas welding technology, resulting in homogeneous, strong and long-term stable joints without the risk of corrosion or gradual separation of structural joints.
Unlike constructions using bonded joints, rivets, sealing tapes or combinations of different materials, RECUBOX® maintains its airtightness and mechanical durability even after many years of operation.

| Large-area filters The large filtration area helps reduce airflow velocity through the filter medium and limits pressure loss. The filter frames also allow easy replacement of the filter medium. In the standard version, RECUBOX® is equipped with M5 class filter material. |
| BY-PASS The BY-PASS is available as a separate bypass section or as an integrated solution with the option of manual operation or preparation for a servo actuator. The BY-PASS shaft diameter is 14 mm. |
ENTHALPY RECUBOX® OPEN ERV 03/300 can be equipped with three types of enthalpy counterflow heat exchangers.
Each heat exchanger offers a different technology, construction and price-to-performance ratio. This makes it possible to adapt the RECUBOX® to the specific requirements of the project – from an economical solution to premium METALPIC technology.

The stated dimensions do not include thermal insulation. If the dimensions need to be adjusted, for example due to larger duct connections or another technical modification, we will inform you after the order is placed and before production begins.

E = C − 60 mm Integrated BY-PASS – dimension F The integrated BY-PASS is positioned behind the heat exchanger and increases the overall depth of the RECUBOX® by approximately one third of its basic depth. F = 1/3 × C The BY-PASS opens a bypass route for fresh air around the heat exchanger with very low pressure loss. In this configuration, opening the BY-PASS does not close the airflow path through the heat exchanger. However, due to the significantly lower pressure loss of the open bypass route, the amount of air passing through the heat exchanger is minimised. |
RECUBOX® is manufactured according to the selected configuration. The position and diameter of the duct connections, service door orientation, condensate drain position, insulation method, BY-PASS design and other construction details can be adapted to the specific installation.
If the selected configuration cannot be technically implemented, or if another solution would be more suitable, we will contact you before production begins.
