RECUBOX® X-POOL is a top-of-the-line chemically resistant recovery unit designed for comprehensive air recovery in swimming pools , wellness centers, saunas, laboratories and industrial spaces with slightly aggressive chemicals.

Construction and material design

The entire shell, exchanger , flanges, filter frame, holders and all external components are made of high-quality polypropylene (PP) - without metal parts, with absolute chemical resistance.

  • The material is extremely resistant to:
  • chlorine and ozone in pool recirculation,
  • acids and bases,
  • solvents, alcohol and volatile organic compounds (VOCs),
  • salt spray and corrosive moisture.

100% welded joint technology – no glued seals, no leaks. All sealing elements are mechanical only and replaceable .
Smooth hygienic walls allow for easy cleaning – very low maintenance, high level of hygiene.

CVUT and recupex

Thanks to their robust construction, top quality and maximum hygienic safety, our RECUBOXES are part of a number of CTU projects, including the unique SAWER system, which UCEEB is developing for obtaining drinking water from the air.

Heat exchanger – RECUTECH epoxy design

  • Corrosion resistance according to ASTM B117 , verified with salt solution (NaCl 5% / 35 °C) up to 1,000 h ,
  • High resistance to solvents – trichloroethylene (85 °C / 5 min), tetrachloroethylene (120 °C / 30 min),
  • Technical parameters same as aluminum counterflow exchangers without epoxy treatment

Installation and maintenance

  • Fans are not part of the unit - they are built directly into the air conditioning duct, which saves space in the technical room.
  • If necessary, the fans can be quickly replaced without interfering with the main unit (the Recubox® remains intact).


Better properties than all-stainless steel heat recovery

Thanks to the durability of polypropylene , Recubox® X-POOL is more durable than all-stainless steel heat recovery - even stainless steel corrodes over time and loses its tightness in aggressive chemical conditions, while PP remains stable for a long time.

  • Swimming pools, water parks , wellness centers , saunas - ensures clean air recovery in environments with chlorine and high humidity.
  • Laboratories and fume hoods – for heat recovery in mildly aggressive chemical environmentsenvironment.
